The M.A.R.K.S. Club is a R/C model aircraft club that brings all kinds of R/C modelers together. I have been a member of the M.A.R.K.S. Club for a couple of years now and I feel at home at our field and with our members. When I started flying, only the members of M.A.R.K.S. made me feel welcome as some other clubs had no time for the “greenhorn”. I enjoy talking to members about projects almost as much as I love to fly. The MARKS Club currently has a field in East Highland CA. where we hope to start developing a brand new runway just east of our existing one. We are currently working with the BLM and the City of Highland to orchestrate this endeavor bringing us closer to a defined construction date.
We are always looking for new members (friends) and encourage people to visit and fly a couple times before joining the club (guests are allowed 2 visits with a member present before we require you to join). We hold a handful of events each year and always encourage visitors and spectators to join us.
